Clinipak Ltd., a premier manufacturer and distributor of central sterile supplies in the United Kingdom, announced it will now serve the UK market as Key Surgical Ltd. Effective immediately, Key Surgical now provides a broadened portfolio of sterile processing, operating theatre products, and endoscopy supplies.
Founded in 1983, Clinipak has had a strong reputation for quality wrap materials for the decontamination and sterilisation cycles within facilities in the NHS and private healthcare groups. The company merged with Key Surgical in 2017 to improve support for the entire reprocessing cycle – from use to point-of-use cleaning, to decontamination, inspection, preparation and packaging, transport, storage, and back to use again providing the market with a more extensive suite of products and supplies focused on improving patient safety and surgical outcomes. Key Surgical’s robust infrastructure allows for personalized customer service, improved shipping times, ability to provide over 5,500 different products for the CSSD, operating theatre, and now endoscopy. Globally, Key Surgical serves more than 10,000 hospitals, surgical centres, and medical facilities across 70 countries.
